Radio advertising is an often-overlooked “magic marketing bullet”. Done correctly, it can increase your profits like magic. Done wrong, you can burn money at stunning speeds.
Here are the 7 Keys to Making a Fortune Using Radio Advertising.
Key 1: Use Direct Response Copy
Most radio ads use ineffective copy — they try to be funny, cute, or clever.
Don’t use these tactics, because they almost never work. Instead, use a direct response ad. A good basic template for such an ad looks like this:

I’ll never forget this for as long as I live.
The real estate office manager marched to his secretary’s desk. He rubbed his face in frustration. I stopped making cold calls to spy on their conversation.
In muffled tones, he told her to write a “house ad” for a new listing. He wasn’t sure what to write. So he told her to come up with something. Anything.
Back then I sold real estate for a living. I just started learning how to write ads that work. But I couldn’t believe what just transpired.

First off, this post is in no way comprehensive. There are many different ways to monetize your blog.
Of course, there’s selling ad space on your blog, such as through the use of pay-per-click networks like Google AdSense — which is the most popular.
But offering willing advertisers to directly sponsor your blog by buying a post, an ad, or a link is one area that’s becoming increasingly popular.
Sites like ReviewMe.com, PayPerPost.com, and Text-Link-Ads.com are effective in allowing bloggers to get paid for selling content or links on their blogs. Basically, these networks bring both bloggers and advertisers together.
Granted, this has been the subject of a lot of controversy lately, particularly about disclosure. (And yes, all the links above are my affiliate links.)
But what if you want to make money directly? What if you want more control over how you monetize your blog? What if you want to make money based on sales (like an affiliate commission) and not just ad clicks or views?
Well, here are a few cool WordPress plugins I found.

The most profitable and often overlooked free publicity generator is the news release (also called "press release", although news release is a better term).
News releases are not only great marketing tools but also far more credible and believable than advertising since they appear to come from an objective third party.
While publicity is the most powerful promotional tool there is, it is the one that is the least effectively used.
All too often, business owners view news releases as a form of advertising. The copy is self-serving, promotional in tone, and one-sided, and offer no real value to a news-reading audience.
Don't get me wrong. The media’s goal is to report on stories that affect, or are of interest to, their readers or viewers. So, news releases are their best friends — but only if they follow a few important guidelines.

If you’ve read my report, The Death of The Salesletter, then you know that many of my "predictions" (I’m using quotes for a reason) were based on actual test results. Many of them were made by, or done based on tests from, John Reese.
John is one of my mentors. He’s not only a multi-millionaire but also a visionary. And lately, John has proven this to be true. Recently, he released a fascinating report entitled The Rebirth of Internet Marketing, which I highly encourage you to download and read — if you haven’t already.
While John touches on many aspects of the trends affecting Internet marketing (such as advertising, content, authority sites, and more), for me the most salient point is, without question, the decline in long-copy salesletters, and the increasing popularity and versatility of video-based salesletters.
However, there are a few things to note.

I already talked a lot about headlines. There are quite a few blog posts about them here. But here are some additional tips.
There are two huge mistakes people make when they write headlines. Either they are too bland and don’t say enough (such as when they attempt to simply summarize), or they say too much to cover all the bases.
In both cases, you will lose readers.
1. The True Purpose of The Headline
The headline is more than a mere summary of the sales copy. Unlike the title of a book, for instance, it’s not meant to introduce the story. It’s meant to generate readership in the first place.

John Chow recently posted a call to moneymaking British-Columbia bloggers for a newspaper interview in his province. (Too bad it’s not about Canadian bloggers, since I’m in Ottawa, Ontario, and I would have loved the extra publicity).
Nevertheless, this is an interesting topic I wanted to cover in this blog because a lot of people are asking about it. In fact, we discussed it on a call with Clayton Makepeace, entitled “Blogging For Dollars.” People raved so much about the call that they’ve begged Clayton for a second one. (And yes, by popular demand, we’re doing one in March, so stay tuned!)
But let me share, however, some of the things we discussed on the call — along with a few tidbits on how you can make money with a blog.
